Barbadian singer, and businesswoman Rihanna has earned the number three spot on the UK’s The Sunday Times annual Rich List.
Rihanna’s recent move to London made her eligible to be included in this year’s list where she is worth an estimated four hundred and sixty-eight million pounds right behind music composer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and musician Sir Paul McCartney, who are both worth eight hundred million pounds.
Speaking on how Rihanna earned the number three spot, Robert Watts who compiled the annual list said, “she somewhat caught us by surprise.
Very few people knew she was living in the UK until last summer. Now she’s well placed to be the first musician to reach billionaire status in the UK.” He also talked about how the singer’s wealth doesn’t come from music alone as she has other business ventures such as beauty and clothing line.
Just so you know, last year Forbes named Rihanna the world’s richest female musician and detailed how she earned her six hundred million pounds fortune.
