How Davido’s Fall Became Certified Gold In US And Canada

Nigerian artiste, Davido is super excited as his 2017 single ‘Fall’ has been certified gold in the US and Canada meaning the song has sold the equivalent of 40,000 and 800,000 copies in Canada and the US respectively.

Announcing his latest achievement, Davido took to Twitter to share screenshots of his chat with his management team, with the tweet, “I PREDICTED THIS COUPLE DAYS AGO!!! FALL IS NOW CERTIFIED GOLD IN THE USA!!!!! THEY LAUGHED AT ME BUT I DID IT FIRST!!!”

Just so you know, ‘Fall’ which was released as the second song from Davido’s second studio album, “A Good Time” was named the most-shazamed non-American song and also the most watched Nigerian music video on YouTube with over one hundred and sixty-nine million views.
