American rapper and businessman Kanye West has announced that he will be running for the post of the president of the United States of America.
He made this known via his Twitter account over the weekend, where he wrote, “We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States #2020VISION”
This is not the first time the rapper has made his presidential ambition known, as he did so at the MTV VMAs in 2015, where he said, “As you probably could have guessed by this moment, in 2020, I have decided to run for president”
Also, in November 2019, during a speech at the Fast Company Innovation Festival, he said “When I run for president in 2024, I’m not going to run, I’m going to walk”
We guess the 2024 plan has now been brought forward to 2020.
