Despite his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina, rapper and businessman Kanye West will not appear on the 2020 presidential ballot in that region.
According to Chris Whitmire, who is the director of public information for South Carolina State election commission, Kanye failed to meet the requirement of submitting ten thousand petition signatures needed to appear on the ballot, even though he had urged his fans to sign up to help him acquire them.
Just so you know, Kanye West has also missed his chance to get on the ballot in the states of Michigan and Florida but successfully qualified to appear in Oklahoma.
Kanye West recently made headlines following his rally in South Carolina where he spoke about how he almost encouraged his wife, Kim Kardashian to abort their daughter.
He also called out Harriet Tubman, the anti-slavery activist saying, “she never actually freed the slaves. She just had the slaves go work for other white people.”
