Over one million fans flooded Copacabana beach on Saturday night, transforming its expansive sands into a colossal dance floor for a complimentary performance by the pop legend, marking the finale of her world tour.
City officials estimated a staggering 1.6 million attendees at the concert, with some spectators enjoying the show from illuminated apartments or hotels overlooking the beach, while others watched from motorboats and sailboats anchored nearby.
As drones and helicopters hovered above, Madonna delivered a mesmerizing performance, showcasing a repertoire of classics from “Like a Virgin” to “Like a Prayer,” accompanied by numerous stage and costume changes.
