Congratulations are in order for Nollywood actress/filmmaker, Stephanie Linus as she has been appointed to serve as the new Chairperson of the Nigerian Official Selection Committee (NOSC) for the Best International Feature Film category of the prestigious Academy Awards, popularly known as Oscars.
This was announced by the NOSC hours after its founder, Chineze Anyaene-Abonyi officially stepped down as the chairperson.
This new leadership also comes with newly constituted members. They include veteran actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, managing director for the Nigerian Film Corporation Chidia Maduekwe, president of the Directors Guild of Nigeria Victor Okhai, former president of the Directors Guild of Nigeria Andy Amenechi, theatre practitioner Yibo Kikoko and director Izu Ojukwu.
