Veteran singer and former member of The Remedies, Tony Tetuila, has vehemently denied the claims made by his ex-bandmate, Eedris Abdulkareem, suggesting that he was only admitted into the now-disbanded group out of pity.
Abdulkareem recently stated in a podcast interview that he and Eldee were the original founders of The Remedies, stating that Tetuila joined later after they encountered him at a performance in Ilorin, Kwara State.
He insinuated that Tetuila‘s inclusion was driven by their desire to produce more songs, implying that Tetuila was desperate for an opportunity to sing.
However, Tony Tetuilah did not agree with Eedris’ account of their past and he reacted by calling him a liar.
Sharing a video of his reaction to the interview, Tony wrote: “Am highly disappointed in this guy, he is a bloody liar, how could a grown man like this be telling lies,na GOD go punish who dey lie”.
