Forbes list latest billionaire Kanye West has purchased his childhood home in Chicago with plans to fully renovate it.
According to reports, the rapper cum businessman cum pastor bought the Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood home for two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and he is expected to spend another sixty thousand dollars in repairs on the property to fully renovate it.
Kanye’s late mother Donda West originally bought the home as far back as the 1980s and sold it in 2004 before her untimely death in 2007.
The plans Kanye West has for this property has however not been revealed, but his foundation Donda’s House which is in honour of his late mother will likely play a large role in the ultimate vision he has for buying the property.
The Chicago property will now join other multiple real estate properties Kanye West owns.
