Rihanna Focuses on Work, Not Retirement

Rihanna recently attended the Los Angeles launch party for her new Fenty Hair line on June 10. Amidst the celebration, she took a moment to address some circulating rumors.

The pop icon and business mogul sparked curiosity after being seen in a t-shirt dress with the words, “I’m Retired.” Clarifying the message, Rihanna explained to “Extra,” “That was just me looking into the future. I’m not retired. I just liked the dress. I received it as a gift and loved it. People missed the second line – I’m not retired, I’m just retired from dressing up; it’s a lot of effort.”

She humorously added, “Wait for the ‘I Quit’ t-shirt.”

Since releasing her last album, “Anti,” in 2016, Rihanna has been busy expanding her Fenty brand and growing her family with rapper A$AP Rocky. The couple has two sons: RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023.

Speaking to Extra, Rihanna expressed her wish to have a daughter someday, saying, “A spicy little girl would be so fun.” However, she mentioned that this won’t be happening immediately, joking with “E! News,” “Can I get my six-pack back first?”

Addressing speculation about a possible pregnancy, she told “Entertainment Tonight,” “I’m not pregnant, if that’s what you’re asking.”

Rihanna also confirmed she’s working on new music and urged her fans to be patient, saying, “Give me a second!”
