										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Nigerian Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, who was billed to perform at the 61st Grammy Awards held in Los Angeles last night, has opened up on why he didn&#8217;t perform.<span id="more-77350"></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Seun Kuti also lost out in his first attempt to win a Grammy award after being nominated in the best world music album category but lost to South Africa’s ‘Soweto Gospel Choir’.</p>
<p>On his Instagram page, Kuti wrote: “First and foremost I have to say I am sorry to all the fans that tuned in to see us perform yesterday but didn’t.</p>
<blockquote><p><em><strong>“I had the weirdest ticket mix up in history meaning I missed my flight and the rehearsals and we couldn’t go on.</strong></em></p>
