Reekado Banks who recently left Don Jazzy’s Marvin Records has revealed that he has also dropped his brother from managing him, in a recent interview, he revealed that he is now being managed by Twenty20 media which is owned by Davido’s former manager, Kamal Ajiboye.

Singer Davido no longer wants a manager. He recently declared he wants to be his own manager.

This announcement was made after Davido officially confirmed via social media his separation with his longtime manager Kamal Ajiboye

Davido signed Kamal Ajiboye as manager in 2011 after parting ways with former manager Asa Asika.

Kamal was reportedly a strong influence in convincing Davido’s father to let David pursue a music career on returning from America.

‘I feel bad when Davido gets criticised’ – Manager

TVC E – Davido’s manager, Kamal Ajiboye has disclosed he feels sad when the singer gets criticised.

Speaking yesterday when Davido was hosted by BHM in celebration of his recent deal with global music company, Sony, Kamal revealed,

“Davido is a very passionate young man when it comes to music. It doesn’t matter whether he brings money or not, even though money is very important. Davido understands his craft. He is a producer also and this has helped his brand over the years. Davido takes his job very seriously and he has a good heart which has helped him in achieving a lot over the years. His hardwork has paid off from being able to convince his family to believe him. Today his family is his biggest fan.’

On criticisms, Kamal believes Davido’s critics are always too harsh and judgmental.

‘Sometimes I feel bad when he is being criticised.’
