Over the weekend, rap superstar Nicki Minaj went on an explosive rant on X (formerly Twitter), accusing key figures within Jay-Z’s Roc Nation of sabotage, manipulation, and surveillance — all of which, she claims, have contributed to her decision not to release new music.

Minaj expressed her frustration over Lil Wayne being overlooked for the recent LIX Super Bowl Halftime Show held in New Orleans, despite his deep ties to the city. Instead, Kendrick Lamar was selected, and Nicki insinuated behind-the-scenes politics were at play. In a cryptic post, she threatened to reveal damaging secrets: “Needing the Barbz is at an all time high for every distraction. So let me start talking about what I’ve found out. About them. Real juicy. Confirmations.”

Using hashtags like #PaidMoles and #OrderInTheCourt, Nicki hinted at a broader conspiracy targeting her and her family. She accused Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez of planting surveillance devices and having her daughter, Demoree Hadley, institutionalized under false pretenses. Nicki also shared court documents backing Hadley’s claim that her mother orchestrated a plot against her and her husband.

Minaj alleged attempts to separate her own husband, Kenneth Petty, from their family and suggested her online platforms had been infiltrated. “They’ve had access to my accounts on all platforms,” she wrote. “I didn’t change the passwords either… Would you continue working in a field where you were maliciously being kept away from your audience?”

While some critics dismissed her tweets as publicity stunts, Minaj insists the silence around her music is due to a larger, disturbing issue. She ended her tirade by urging her fans to document any social media censorship related to her posts or Demoree’s case.

Kenneth Petty was also sentenced to three years of probation and fined five thousand dollars according to the representative for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.

Petty pleaded guilty in September to one count of failure to register as a sex offender, as he was required to register as a sex offender after being convicted of first-degree attempted rape in New York in 1995, when he was sixteen.

Just so you know, Kenneth Petty moved to California in July 2019 before tying the knot with Nicki Minaj in October later that year, and during a traffic stop in Beverly Hills, authorities learnt that he had not registered as a sex offender as required by the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA), officials said. He was later indicted in March 2020.

Petty is a registered Level 2 sex offender on New York State’s Sex Offender Registry and in August 2021, Petty accepted a plea deal for failing to register.

Prosecutors had argued for prison time, writing in a June sentencing position that he should be sentenced to fifteen months, or a little over a year, in prison.

Prosecutors argued that he knowingly failed to register after moving to California.

They also wrote that home confinement would not be appropriate, citing a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home in Calabasas with a pool.

Petty served nearly four years in prison after the New York attempted rape conviction.

Despite the controversy around her new relationship, Nicki Minaj is giving out her ‘Middle finger’ to those bitter about her relationship – her happiness.

If a new report by TMZ is anything to go by, then the female rap star may be walking down the aisle soon and even become a mom.

According to the report, Nicki’s relationship with her new boyfriend, Kenneth Petty is more serious than everyone thought as she is considering marriage and having his children.

The report also claim that sources close to the “Queen” rapper has it on authority that she has already had the marriage and baby talk with her partner after only a few months of dating. It is also learnt that Minaj is serious about the prospect of marrying Petty and having his kids because she believes he’s that good a man.

Kevin ‘Zoo’ Petty was convicted of 1st-degree attempted rape of a 16-year-old girl in 1995. He served between 18 and 54 months for that crime, and he is a registered sex offender in New York.

He also served time for killing a man in 2002. He pleded guilty to first-degree manslaughter in the shooting death of a man named Lamont Robinson in 2002.

The complaint claims that on April 27, 2002 at 12:30 AM, Petty shot Robinson multiple times. Robinson was later pronounced dead at a hospital.

Authorities originally charged Petty with 2nd-degree murder, but his lawyer got the charge reduced to manslaughter in a plea deal.

Petty pled guilty to the manslaughter charge in exchange for a 10 year prison sentence in March 2006. He was released from prison in May 2013 after serving 7 years. He was on supervised parole for 5 years, until May of this year.
