<p>The Fiscal Responsibility Commission, accused the BPE of failing to provide audited accounts between 2012 and 2015.</p>
<p>It also accused the bureau of non- remittance of its operating surplus of 81.8 million naira in 2007. That&#8217;s about 260,000 dollars.</p>

<p>Speaking at the Annual Stakeholders&#8217; Meeting, he highlighted that the activities of the lawmakers in the last one year, which includes the Neighbourhood Safety Corp and Property Protection Laws of 2016.</p>
<p>The laws are to address security challenges like land grabbing activities and protection of lives as well as properties across the state.</p>
<p>In response, Honourable Oladele said the plights of each community would be adequately considered.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>TVC E, NEWS &#8211; As part of its oversight functions, the Lagos state House of Assembly Committee on Physical planning and Urban Development on Wednesday paid a visit to the Lagos State Building Control Agency, Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority and the Lagos State Urban Renewal Authority.</p>
<p>Addressing the heads and members of staff of the three agencies saddled with the responsibility of granting building approvals in the state, the Chairman of the Committee Honorable David Setonji expressed displeasure over the activities of the Lagos state Building Control Agency particularly with increasing rates of building collapse he stated that it will no longer be business as usual</p>
<p>He further noted that he Lagos state house of assembly would do all it can to ensure implementation of enabling laws penalising those involved in building collapse cases.</p>
<p>The Lagos house Committee on the environment has charged the Lagos State Signage and Advertising Agency, LASSA to step up its game in ridding the city off illegal posters announcing bogus job vacancies and good salaries for the unemployed youths in the state.</p>
<p>They say the perpetrators of such act are nothing but fraudsters.</p>
<p>Chairman of the House committee on the environment, honourable Saka Fafunmi said this during a courtesy call to the agency on Wednesday.</p>
<p>Responding to this call, the Managing Director of the agency, Bolaji Sanusi vowed to work with law enforcement agencies in the state with the view to helping the agency deal with the perpetrators of the evil act.</p>
<p>He says more public enlightenment programmes would be put in place to educate Lagosians on the agencies plans.</p>
