Nollywood actress and former beauty queen, Regina Askia celebrate her 53rd birthday today the 16th of December. The actress who was a prominent figure in the Nigeria movie scene in the early 90s relocated to the US in the early 2000s and lives there with her family. Regina Askia recently visited Nigeria where she hosted a food event.

She currently lives in the US with her family and a beautiful lookalike daughter.

Sharing her joy today, she wrote:

The former beauty queen rocked the Nollywood industry from the early 90s till the early 2000s before she relocated to the US where she and her family now lives.

Regina Askia Fits into her Wedding Gown 16 Years After

The former beauty queen and actress decided to try on her wedding dress 16 years after and it still fits. She captioned the photos;
”Messing around in my wedding dress…16 years later….and it fits. Well, mostly.”

Regina American-based registered nurse (RN), healthcare and educational activist, television producer, writer, and public speaker, who found fame as an actress and model.

In 1988, She was a former Medical student who had transferred from the University of Calabar to the University of Lagos – was crowned Miss Unilag. That same year, she competed in the MBGN 1988 contest. Though she was the crowds favorite contestant as well as the outgoing Miss Intercontinental, Joan Maynard, she placed second. However, she became titleholder the following year when winner Bianca Onoh resigned.
