Speaking on ‘Organic Skin Care’ on #WakeUpNigeria this morning, was Deborah Ohiri who highlighted on how we can keep our skin glowing.Using the turmeric mask, Deborah referred to it as one of the things Indian women use during their weddings to make their skin glow. She added that the turmeric is under the curry family as some use it to season their food.

Ingredients Used in Making ‘Turmeric Mask’

2 spoons of turmeric powder
1 spoon of Almond oil
1 spoon of honey (local)
1 spoon of lemon
3 spoons of milk.

These ingredients are mixed together to make the paste. She instructed that the face should be washed with lukewarm before applied to places preferred by the user.

She also added that it should be applied before bathing.

While emphasizing the use of milk, she explained that it has to be liquid milk or evaporated milk and yogurt can be used in the place of milk.
