Vin Diesel enjoys sharing updates on his Instagram.In 2019, the “Fast & Furious” star shared on Instagram that the script for “Riddick 4” was complete. It’s taken nearly five years to get all of the ducks in a row but the duo has managed to will this one into existence.

Vin Diesel is making a long-awaited return to the sci-fi franchise that catapulted him to stardom. The fourth installment of the “Riddick” series, titled “Riddick: Furya,” is finally coming to fruition, with Diesel reprising his iconic role and David Twohy returning as director.

Production for “Furya” is slated to kick off on August 26, 2024, with filming locations spanning Germany, Spain, and the U.K. This marks the culmination of years of effort from Diesel and Twohy, who have been striving to bring this project to life. The storyline of the upcoming film sees Riddick returning to his homeworld, facing new challenges alongside fellow Furyans battling a formidable foe.

Details about the cast are still under wraps, but Diesel will not only star but also produce the film alongside Samantha Vincent, Thorsten Schumacher, Lars Sylvest, and Joe Neurauter. While it remains uncertain if previous cast members will return, the franchise has garnered a loyal following since its inception in 2000 with “Pitch Black.”

Despite facing allegations in 2023, Diesel remains committed to his projects, including “Riddick: Furya” and “Fast & Furious 11.” The status of the allegations in relation to the film’s production is yet to be clarified. As of now, a release date for “Riddick: Furya” has not been announced, but anticipation among fans is running high.

Vin Diesel Confirms Brie Larson Will Join Fast And Furious 10

Vin Diesel has welcomed a fellow Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) star Brie Larson best known for her role as Captain Marvel to the Fast & Furious franchise.

Production for the 10th installment in the long-running franchise is gearing up, and the actor/producer made the casting announcement on Instagram, where he shared a picture of himself on the social media site alongside Brie Larson.

“Yeah yeah yeah… you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ‘that’s captain Marvel. Clearly there is love and laughter in this image. What you don’t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast 10.

You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect… her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for. Welcome to the FAMILY Brie.”

This development is coming after Larson revealed that it was a dream of hers to appear in a Fast & Furious movie. She said at the time,

“Please, please tell everybody I would, of course, want to be in a Fast & Furious movie. I’m obsessed. I love them. I think they’re so good. They’re so fun. And they’ve made me appreciate cars. And it is something that should be appreciated. They’re incredible. So, of course, please.”

Vin Diesel recieves traditional Indian welcome for ‘xXx’

Women dressed in red saris and yellow turbans gave a traditional Indian welcome to action star Vin Diesel on Thursday as the American arrived to promote his new movie “xXx: Return of Zander Cage.”

Diesel was accompanied by Bollywood star Deepika Padukone, who is making her Hollywood debut in the film which begins its international rollout on Friday.

Dozens of women applied red vermilion dots – regarded as an auspicious symbol in India – to the foreheads of Diesel, Padukone and director D.J. Caruso.

The film sees Diesel’s return to the Zander Cage film franchise after starring in the first movie in 2002 but missing the sequel in 2005.

Although thought to be long-dead, the athlete turned government operative in “xXx: Return of Zander Cage” comes out of exile and races to recover a sinister weapon.

‘The Rock’ insults male cast of Fast & Furious 8

Dwayne ‘The rock’ Johnson has whipped up a storm with a post on Instagram where he slammed some of his Fast & Furious 8 male co-stars, labelling them as ‘Candy Asses.’

According to new reports from TMZ, the target of his wrath was co-star Vin Diesel. The former wrestler is believed to have taken aim at his fellow action star because the pair reportedly clashed several times during filming of the upcoming eighth movie after falling out over decisions made by Vin in his extra role as producer.

The website also revealed the pair met for crisis talks on the set of the film in Atlanta yesterday in a bid to bury the hatchet after Dwayne shared the post below on Instagram alongside a video of a fight scene from the movie.

Dwayne’s outburst came just a week and a half before filming ends, it is reported that almost the entire cast of the movie is angry at Rock for causing a stir with his post. The TMZ report also suggests the feud sparked by his online rant meant tensions were running high onset.

It is not yet known if the talks were successful and if they pair managed to put the feud behind them.

Other male stars in the movie include Scott Eastwood and Jason Statham.

Fast 8 is set to be released in UK cinemas on 14 April 2017.
