The actress shared a photo of herself flying to an undisclosed location and the troll commented “Are you going to see Yahya Jammeh?” Then she replied “Am going to see your father bastard @lepenmacrom55”

Recall that in 2017, controversial blogger, Kemi Olunloyo, accused Angela Okorie of alleged collecting $11m from the immediate past president of Gambia, Yahya Jammeh.

It was a war of words between Ms. Olunloyo and Angela after Olunloyuo called out the actress on Instagram saying she was ‘prostituting’ in the movie industry, and outside the shores of Nigeria. On her Instagram page @HNNAfrica, Ms. Olunloyo tagged the actress and wrote:

“The depth of high class prostitution of our #Nollywood ladies has reached alarming heights.

“While #AngelaOkorie fans are busy yapping me for calling her a call girl, they don’t understand my form of investigative journalism. No fear, favors or bribes.

“Okorie has been fucking a dictator in front of our eyes and could have possibly been a diplomatic nightmare that ECOWAS secret agents could have easily eliminated.

“If she were #American, the CIA would have KILLED her already! A total #Nigerian embarrassment to @muhammadubuhari’s #ECOWAS mission.

“I caught and monitored Okorie’s philandering with #yahyajammeh from the beginning of the elections that eventually earned #AdamaBarrow the Presidency.

“Instead, Okorie was on Instagram brainwashing her fans as usual calling Jammeh “a man of the people.”

“Angela once again after u were insinuating thunder will fire @bobrisky222, I repeat….the thunder that will fire u is coming straight from #Gambia from all those #Gambians who are refugees in #Senegal now suffering and trying to go home.

“Instead you conveniently flew back to #Nigeria and watched a dictator refuse to give up his throne after he paid u.

“A prominent #Gambian Journalist told me you were paid $1.5M to wear white Muslim dictator shit garb and rock your pussy around campaigning for an evil man.

“RETURN THE MONEY ANGELA!! #Jammeh also allegedly took $11M too.

“Both of u will be prosecuted by #Barrow soon. #OleOshi #AshewoOshi #hnninvestigates #Gambia #Gambiadecides,” Madame KOO added.

Firing back at Kemi Olunloyo, Angela Okorie wrote;

“You wanted my attention. Now you can have it. I see your madness has gone to a different level. Listen you old witch, my Bible tells me not to suffer a witch to live. I noticed you are kind of attacking celebrities. My case is different. I am here to warn you, if you don’t stop saying ill things about me, you will die untimely. Since you love cursing, may it never depart from you. You call women prostitutes, you shall die in prostitution, you will get drunk in your own blood and eat your own flesh bastard”

Okorie’s statement followed recent allegations by Olunloyo suggesting that the actress is having an affair with Yahya Jammeh, the ex president of Gambia who ruled the country for 22 years.

According to reports, Okorie has insisted that her lawyers will be fighting her battles in the event of more attacks from the media personality.

“Next time she opens her mouth wide again and the sewage spews out, my lawyers will go fast and hard after her. The law, the court, is the only way to put a mad dog on a leash.”

The actress commented that her personal findings about Olunloyo has revealed her to be a troublemaker who preys on societal figures.

She explained that her 2016 trip to Gambia was in fact for business purposes, not a personal visit to Jammeh as has been alleged.

“I have heard a bit about her. I decided to do a full background check and behold, I saw a whole lot of garbage. I discovered she makes a sport of badmouthing prominent people,”

“The Gambian trip was not a solo trip. It was an industry outing that involved about ten showbiz personalities, including Emmanuel Ehumadu, Walter Anger, Klint de Drunk, I Go Save, Sharon Francis, Prince Eke, Sandra Onyeka, Moyo Lawal and Mr. Patrick,” th actress said.

We’re yet to receive an official communique, but the leaders have been trying to persuade Jammeh to make an honourable exit, after he lost lost the December 1st election.

He initially conceded defeat but contested the results a week later, and called for another poll. He has now refused to give up power.

The Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS wants a peaceful resolution to the impasse, but has hinted at possible military action.

He said the move was in line with the nation’s “religious identity and values”.

The ban which was imposed on the 4th of January, however was met with lots of resistance by the opposition group, and has been scrapped.

It was lifted because it made women “unhappy”, his office said in a statement, adding that they were his “best friends”.

“Women are (Mr Jammeh’s) best friends, they are his sisters and he is here for their wellbeing and happiness at all times,” a statement said.

“That being the case, this decision that makes them unhappy has been lifted.”

The Gambia is popular with Western tourists because of its beaches. About 90% of Gambians are Muslim – and many Muslim scholars believe that Islam orders women to cover their hair in public.

Rights activists accuse Mr Jammeh – who has been in power since 1994 – of presiding over a brutal regime which is intolerant of dissent.

He portrays himself as a devout Muslim with miraculous powers – once claiming that he could cure Aids with a herbal concoction.
