TVC E, POLITICS – The Supreme Court has also given reasons for reaffirming the election of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State of the All Progressive Congress.
Justice Clara Ogunbiyi, who read the lead Judgement, held that the major witness presented by the Accord Party, was not an expert and his testimony was purely an opinion.
The apex court further held Rasheed Ladoja, and his party failed woefully to prove his allegations.
Justice Ogunbiyi further held that the Accord Party called twenty eight witnesses, but chose to dump them and rely solely on the testament of the major witness.
The court concluded that the evidence of the witnesses was nothing but a sham.
Counsel to Ladoja said he was in agreement with the reasons given by the court.
