Death, the supreme prize every living soul must pay has claimed the life of a famous Hausa music legend, Sanni Aliyu Dandawo.

Dandawo passed away after a prolonged battle with diabetes at the age of 72.
His family confirmed that he died at his residence in Yauri, Kebbi State on Sunday, April 3, 2016.

Bala Ibn Na’Allah, the Deputy Senate Leader commiserated with the family of he deceased. He described Dandawo as a musical legend who contributed to promoting peace and development through music.
He also offered prayers on behalf of his family, hoping that Allah would grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Dandawo was buried according to the Islamic rites, which requires that the dead be buried as soon as they pass on.
