Okun indigenes declare support for Faleke

Honourable James Faleke

The Okun development association, South-west chapter, has thrown its weight behind James Abiodun Faleke, in his legal battle to claim the Kogi state governorship seat

Executives of the association, at their meeting in Lagos, condemned what they called, the impunity within the ranks of the All Progressives’ Congress, by giving out the governorship ticket to Yahaya Bello, despite his absence at all the party’s campaign rallies within the state.

They are also worried about the slow pace of development in Okun Land.

They blame past governments for neglecting their area, thereby impeding  economic growth and infrastructural development.
