A 27-year old lady has been arrested by the Domestic Violence Unit of the Festac Police Station in Lagos for allegedly planning to kill her Indian lover.
The accused, simply identified as Sandra was is currently under investigation after she hired someone to assassinate her 23 year old Indian lover, Jagan.
According to Jagan, Sandra allegedly “threatened to deal with him” after he broke up with her. She then hired an assassin who drove into him with a motorbike and almost killed him if not for what he described as “divine intervention”.
Jagan claims to have done everything to show his Love for Sandra, even giving her his ATM card. Despite all of this, there were still reports that she was cheating on him. He traced her to an hotel to confirm the veracity of the story.
“I went to the hotel to confirm what I had been hearing, and It was true. I slapped her neck. My finger injured her. I didn’t try to strangle her,” he said.
Few days later, however, Sandra attacked him with a knife, tearing his clothes.
“She was armed with a bottle and started dragging me. She wanted to kill me. I called the police,” he added.
“I now understand everything,” he said. Sandra has gotten all she wants from me. I’m broke. She doesn’t want me anymore. I reported Sandra to the police because she was threatening my life because it was after Sandra threatened to deal with me that I had the ‘life-threatening motorbike accident.”
Sandra, however refuted all the allegations against her, accusing Jagan of being jealous and possessive. She said:
“He said I should be like Indian women. But I don’t want to be like Indian women. He wants me to be covering myself, I can’t. Whenever I speak with anybody, he gets angry. I can’t live that way!”
