The Minister of Communication, Adebayo Shittu and his Justice counterpart, Abubakar Malami failed to appear before the House of Representatives Committee probing the reduction in the 1.04 trillion Naira fine against telecoms giant, MTN.
Only the Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission,Umar Dambata honoured the committee’s invitation.
Nevertheless, the committee says it will submit its report to the larger House, before going into a closed door meeting with the NCC team.
