TVC E. President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerian youths to exert every effort to bring back Nigeria’s power through pursuit of knowledge, patriotism and commitment to values that promote national unity.
He has delivered his speech in front of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members on Tuesday in Daura, Katsina state.
Besides, the president once again reminded about commitment of his administration’s to the unity and prosperity of Nigeria.
Commending corps members from the Niger Delta and south-east states, the president praised Yakubu Gowon, the former head of state of Nigeria, for creating the scheme in 1973.
The president stressed that the scheme keeps bringing about unity in the country and helps youths appreciate the uniqueness and cultural diversity of various ethnic groups.
