The African Development Bank says it is arranging a loan of $28.2 million for Shelter Afrique, a Development Finance Institution investing in affordable housing across Africa.
The loan is to help Shelter Afrique consolidate its work in 2017.
The announcement comes shortly after the Bank injected equity fund of US $8.2 million in Shelter Afrique.

Director General at AfDB’s East Africa Regional Development and Business Delivery Office, Gabriel Negatu, said the new resources is an indication that the African Development Bank is committed to the development of housing across Africa.
