Ogun sets up task force to ensure compliance with setting up Gas Plants

The Ogun State Government has set up a task force to ensure compliance and arrest violators of guidelines stating that gas plants be situated separately from petrol stations.

This followed last Friday’s fire incident, which claimed two lives and injured seven others in Abeokuta.

Commissioner for Urban and Physical planning, Ronke Sokefun said the state will not allow any petrol stations to also fill gas cylinders without proper approval and consideration for safety of lives and property.
