Political parties in the country on Tuesday accepted the timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission on March 9, 2017, which fixed the next Presidential election for February 16, 2019.
The decision was taken during the quarterly meeting between INEC and the political parties which dwelt on “internal party democracy, mitigation of violence in elections, party finance, court judgments, the outstanding Anambra Senatorial election, continuous voters registration among others.
