Nigeria’s Rivers United defeated Rayon Sport of Rwanda 2-0 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup playoff in Port Harcourt on Sunday,
Emeka Atuloma gave Rivers United the lead in the 29th minute.
Guy Kuemian scored what proved to be the winning goal from 25 yards to seal the win for Rivers United.
The result gives Stanley Eguma’s side a huge advantage heading into the second leg in Kigali on April the 22nd.
