Popular Instagram comedian, Nas boi has said he has been able to has been able to play out of the “Low budget Davido” character.
Speaking with Titi and Mazino on TVC’s breakfast show – Wake Up Nigeria, the skit maker who started making skits in 2019 revealed he was into music, before going into comic skits.
Nas Boi was popular for making skits mimicking African pop star, Davido. However, he has been able to create other characters – Akpan and Ikechukwu that people connect with on social media.

“I decided to show some other characters because I am very certain they will get over the Character (Low budget Davido)”
Nas boi has been seen in recent movies and he attributes his presence in new movies to the other characters he has created.
With the advent of comic skits on social media, it is presumed that there is a lot of pressure on content creators/skit makers to make contents regularly. Nas Boi speaking on pressure skit, stated he’s not one to be pressured. In fact, he’s not all about the money.
According to him, he does more than making skit. Asides making people laugh, Nas Boi reveals he does other videos to impact people’s lives. “I’m a comedian, I’m not a fool.”
“I don’t copy, I’m unique. Asides making people laugh, I do some inspirational videos too.”

Nas Boi met Davido in 2020 after several skits of him mimicking Davido went viral. It would be recalled that Nas Boi in an interview revealed that he scared when he met Davido and Peruzzi, because he never knew what their reactions would be and the kind of people around him.
However, he got comfortable with the 30 billion gang leader and DMW boss, and he was seen on several occasions uploading a video of him and davido. According to him, Davido has been showing him nothing but love every time.
