Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, widely known as Cubana Chief Priest, has reportedly taken legal action against a Kenyan woman, Hellen Ati, who has publicly accused him of fathering her son.
According to Nigerian lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye—who also represents May Edochie—Cubana Chief Priest filed a petition before a Kenyan magistrate court, requesting a restraining order to stop Hellen from allegedly tarnishing his image online. The court documents were shared by the lawyer on his official Facebook page and show that the socialite seeks legal protection from further online harassment.
Hellen Ati, who has persistently taken to social media platforms to allege that her two-year-old son is the result of a relationship with the Nigerian celebrity, has been demanding that he take a DNA test to prove paternity. She claims that Cubana Chief Priest has refused to acknowledge or take responsibility for the child.
However, Cubana Chief Priest has denied knowing Hellen or ever having any form of relationship with her.
In a fiery response to the lawsuit, Hellen released a video challenging the socialite and insisting that he undergo a DNA test. She emphasized that unlike in Nigeria, money and influence won’t work in Kenya, saying, “Na Kenya we dey.”
As the legal drama unfolds, the case continues to spark debate online, drawing attention across both Nigerian and Kenyan social media communities. The paternity dispute has now entered a formal legal phase, with the court expected to deliberate on the next steps in the coming weeks.
