TVC E – The Nigerian Urban Reproductive Health Initiative (NURHI) has unveiled the theme song it is using to drive the message of family planning, ‘Get it together’.
The theme song, ‘Get it together’ features top musicians Tiwa Savage and Paul Okoye.
Comedian Gordons and Nollywood actors; Mike Ezuruonye, Adekola Odunlade and Ali Nuhu, emerge as ambassadors for the Family Planning Campaign 2016.
‘Get it together’ emphasizes the benefit of a reproductive age to men and women, awareness about family planning, increasing contraceptive use among women and increasing access to family planning services.
This campaign is expected to better the previous family planning campaign in Nigeria themed ‘Wait for me’ which was launched in 1989.
The 1989 maiden edition was kicked off with renowned artistes Onyeka Onwenu and King Sunny Ade releasing two songs titled ‘Choices’ and ‘Wait for me’.
