Living in your authenticity is one of the most powerful and fulfilling things you can do for yourself.
When you are honest, you attract people who genuinely love you, and you also stand out in whatever you do, whether it’s in business, your career or your creative path, because the rewards are tremendous.
Here are five pointers to finding out if you are being true to yourself;
- Everyone likes you- So, unless you’re a dollar bill or a Naira, if everyone likes you, my brethren, you can be sure you’re hiding your real personality. Haters exist, and real people face a lot of criticism.
- Everyone hates you- If everyone hates you, then you are not showing up as your true self. Real people have a few people who love and admire them in as much as they have haters.
3.You wear a mask- this simply means you are afraid to be yourself because you think people will not love the real you, so you hide under this mask and pretend to be who you are not.
4. You are not free- you feel trapped because you know you are hiding your true personality and for that reason you are never really relaxed or free to be yourself when you are around others.
5. Your stories don’t add up- you create so many different fake stories about yourself to make people see you in a certain light but none of them usually adds up.
Being yourself is the best medicine to achieving great results!
