Cuppy’s Valentine’s date, Lanre Akintomide aka A$AP Lerry, has expressed hope that their date would someday go beyond social media. He said this in an interview with Sunday Scoop over the weekend.
February 10, the disc jockey proposed a date to an Ibadan-based man , Asiwaju Lerry, fondly called ‘Duke of Ibadan’ out on a date ahead of Valentine’s Day celebration.
In her tweet, DJ Cuppy called out the duke via her official handle and asked if he would love to be her Val.
Despite location differences, the ‘Jollof in the Jet’ crooner disclosed that though the young man resides in Ibadan while she is studying in Oxford, they could meet on Twitter space by 7pm on February 14 for what she referred to as their first date.
In reaction to her tweet, the young man identified as Asiwaju Lerry, exclaimed that DJ Cuppy is his Queen, adding that her wish is his command.
