TVCE – Unknown to many, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly referred to as K1 and the Waka Queen, Salawa ibiwunmi Abeni have been at loggerheads for almost years. But the feud was finally laid to rest as both both veterans are no longer at war.
Hitherto their peace deal, it was widely reported that their feud escalated on Sunday, January 3, 2016 during an event at Timesquare Event Centre, Ikeja, Lagos.
A peace meeting was brokered during the week where both parties buried the hatchet and reconciled.
It would recalled that all hasn’t been well in the camps of both veterans since 2013 during the 80th birthday of the paramount ruler of Ijebu Ode, Oba Sikiru Adetona.
It was gathered that a mutual friend, Jubril Abiodun Onasanya arranged the peace meeting at a hotel in Opebi, Lagos. K1 and Salawa were both present at the reconciliation meeting that later turned out to be a party.
Peace at last!
