We had a book chat with Nathanael Disu, an investment enthusiast, financial market analyst, and author, to review his book the stock market millionaire; a book with insights on how the stock market works.

According to Nathanael, his journey into the stock market began in 2020 around when covid happened.

He said, “I have always known about the stock market since my university days but I knew it on a basic level as where people invest.

One faithful day, a friend of mine that attended a program about stock and heard where the stock was selling, called me to buy and that was it”

What is the stock market?

The stock market is also known as the equities market, a stock market is a place where shares of publicly owned companies can be bought and sold. Publicly traded shares can be traded either through centralized exchanges or OTC (over-the-counter).

These may include securities listed on a public stock that is only traded privately, such as shares of private companies which are sold to investors through equity crowdfunding platforms.

According to Nathaniel, during his journey investing in the US Stock Market, he discovered that many Nigerians don’t know the opportunity that exists in the US Stock Market.

He shared that only a handful of people know they could actually invest in a foreign currency and get grow their money in Dollars

Nathaniel shared that from the comfort of your home, you can easily buy shares of US companies from anywhere you are in Nigeria. All you need is your smartphone, Internet connection, and a willingness to learn about the US Stock Market
