Being Competitive Will Make You More Successful, Do You Agree?

If you’re competitive, you want to be the best. No one likes to lose, but if you are a competitive person, it will be especially disappointing to see someone else win.

People who are competitive like to compete to find out who knows the most runs the fastest sings the best and so on.

But is it healthy for artists to be in competition with each other?

Recently, a video of Burna Boy and Timaya hanging out went viral and it got a lot of reactions. Fans were happy seeing the Portharcourt hitmakers chilling and having fun together. Burnaboy and Timaya are two big artists making it on their lane with no competition.

However, fans are suggesting that a little competition between them could be of benefit to the artists.

Sharing his opinion on the topic, Mike Mesikenor of Wake Up Nigeria on TVC said, “It is good to see this kind of thing with artists but I will say that in a number of times that animosity bricks the competition we need, we don’t need them to be slacking because as we stand afrobeat is a big thing now.

It’s basically our biggest import aside from our braids so afrobeat is one thing that is really doing well and I feel like at times you don’t need to be too charming sometimes you need to understand that you’re in a competition and you’re not competing with yourself.” he added.

Also, Emem Okoche said, I believe that you should only be in competition with your highest self because the truth is you will definitely find someone that loves and appreciate what you do.

I believe that there’s somebody for everybody in regards in regards to their talents.

What’s your take on competition between artists?
