Popular Veteran actress, Ireti Doyle has confirmed her divorce from film producer and actor, Patrick Doyle.
Ireti and Patrick have six children and got separated after 19 years of being together.
Ireti opened up about her marital status in a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo where she started,
“We are officially divorced.”
However, the reason for their separation was not stated, the actress revealed that she moved out of her matrimonial home in 2017.
The actress talked about how she suffered physical and domestic violence as a teenager and admitted that she had no business getting married at the time she did.
“When you’re an adult, it’s not a life and death situation…there are some situations that are way beyond your control. The truth of the matter is that I had no business being married at that time, period! let’s not even go to the choice of who I married. I can’t sacrifice my life in the alter of your imagination or your fantasy.” she said
