Cynthia ‘Tasha’ Osajibenedict, is an Author, Creative Writer, Content and Brand strategist, and Creative Consultant.

She is the author of Dear Naija Girl, a Radio Host on Elegbete Tv and Radio, a foremost online radio in Nigeria and the Creative Director of Tashtalks Media

She’s been in the media industry for over 7 years, working with Radio stations, record labels, advertising agencies, online media houses and literature.

She’s also a social activist, using her voice, her craft and her life to share the stories of women in Nigeria, shatter stereotypes and encourage women to own their truth.

Her book, Dear Naija Girl, highlights women’s experiences and what it means to be female in Nigeria. Asides from sharing the true life stories of several women, it

The book is a blend of stories, experiences, and a compelling personal record of a young woman’s experiences of abuse (both physical and mental) and marginalization in Nigeria’s patriarchal system, and the struggle to overcome a pervasive mindset in both men and women that strongly resists change.
It opens up its readers to what women go through in this part of the world to be successful and heard or given a voice in their individual spheres.
