The Nigerian Army says it has some suspects in custody believed to be responsible for the recent attacks in the NigerDelta region.
The individuals were apprehended in an undisclosed swampy area of Bayelsa state.
The suspects are believed to be members of the Niger Delta Avengers, who are responsible for the recent destruction of pipelines in the area and forced evacuation of oil exploration companies in the state.
