Clergyman urges fathers to build homes with good values

Fathers day

A clergyman has charged fathers in Nigeria to build their homes with values that would reduce delinquency in the society.

Adesina Okunade was speaking in Ado Ekiti as fathers in his church, joined others around the world, to mark this year’s Father’s Day.

TVC News Correspondent, Akin Ogunmola reports that Father’s Day celebration dated back over a century but in 1972, the
third Sunday in June, officially became Father’s Day holiday in the United States of America.

Commemoration of Father’s Day has since spread to many countries including Nigeria.

Fathers and grandfathers in this church render songs of praise to God at a service dedicated to honuor fathers.

On this anniversary when the country is facing a lot of challenges, a cleric and an elder statesman charge fathers to rise up to the occasion.
