Abubakar Balarabe Mahmoud has been sworn in as 28th President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA.
Mahmoud was sworn-in yesterday by the immediate past NBA President, Austine Alegeh in Port Harcourt, River State.
The ceremony took place at the end of the 56th Annual General Conference of the NBA.
While performing his first official assignment, he has sworn in his executive members who will together run the NBA for the next 2 years.
In his acceptance speech, Mahmoud commended the outgoing executive members, for several innovations that were introduced into the NBA.
