The Poultry Association of Nigeria has said that poultry production will stimulate economic growth and enhance foreign exchange earnings for the country.
The association also stressed that the venture would enhance national food security.
Describing eggs as the world’s wonder food, the association called on the government to include PAN in school’s feeding programme to ensure its success.
The Kwara State arm of the Poultry Association of Nigeria says that the state government is developing a data base in order to have a direct dealing with genuine farmers.
They have urged members to regularly follow up on government programmes and initiatives that were relevant to them and those affecting their business.
