Barely a year after hosting a star-studded wedding ceremony at The Imperial Coliseum, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, rumours of separation have started trailing MMMG boss, Ubi Franklin‘s marriage with Nollywood actress, Lilian Esoro.
The rumour gained momentum on Tuesday after what was supposed to be their one-year anniversary was only openly acknowledged by Ubi who shared that his love for his wife and son ‘knows no boundaries and I will always find this event to be the happiest moment in my life.’
Barring Ubi’s somewhat reassuring message, a simple post by Lilian about her sisters seemed to further fuel the speculations.
Amid the rumours of an existing marital discord between the couple, sources cited the fact that Lilian was missing this past weekend when her husband launched his new lounge in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, indicates something is amiss between them.
A very highly placed source tells Thenetng, ‘Lilian shares photos on social media to make it look like she’s in Europe, but it’s all a cover up.
She’s been back at her parents home in Magodo and she was in Lagos this weekend but refused to attend Ubi’s event because of their issues.’
