Members and leaders of the Allied Congress Party of Nigeria(ACPN), in Ondo state have expelled the Chairman of the Party, Bosun Omosule over alleged fraud and anti-party activities.
At a news conference in Akure,the state capital,a leader of the party,Akindele Alex said the party resolved to dismiss its State Chairman in accordance with article thirty-two of the party”s constitution.
They party leaders also accused the sacked chairman of misappropriating money meant for campaign during the last year governorship election in the state.
Alex said that Omosule who is a former State Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy(AD) between 1999 and 2003 allegedly held meetings with the candidates of different political party before the election
But the embattled chairman in a telephone interviewed described his expulsion as laughable
