John Boyega is set to star in Kathryn Bigelow’s riot drama, Detroit.
The film, which is Bigelow’s first film since Zero Dark Thirty, tells the story of the 1967 Detroit riots, which is one of the most violent revolts in United States history.
He is also gearing up for the release of The Circle, alongside Emma Watson.
John Boyega is co-producing the sequel to Pacific Rim and will reprise his role as Finn in Star Wars, The Last Jedi.
