Three young boys accused of witchcraft have been rescued by a team from the Children’s Aid Education and Development Foundation (ACAEDF) last Sunday in Akwa Ibom State.

Danish aid worker and co-founder of (ACAEDF) Anja Ringgren Love in a statement she posted of Facebook, said the boys are free from fear, and can now grow in peace.

“David, Orok, Don and I have been on a rescue mission. We have saved the lives of 3 beautiful boys.
When the lives and the rights of children are at stake, there must be no silent witnesses. David always tell me, that there is no duty more important than ensuring child rights are respected in every society. That we need to ensure that the lives of children are free from fear, so they can grow up in peace. Little Frank, David and Gideon are now safe at “Land of Hope” and free from fear.” she wrote.
