Popular media personality has a made a valid point why the best revenge to give an ex isn’t success.
In a series of post on her Instagram page, the media personality shared her personal recipe to handle an ex-lover.
According to her, what really matters to her isn’t being successful but moving on is more important.
Toke Makinwa explained that striving to have success as a payback for your ex, only shows that you’re still stuck on your ex.
In reference to Lady Gaga’s revelation that she once had a boyfriend that never believed in her talents and hoped she failed. Makinwa opined that success was never the best revenge to get over an ex-lover. She asked, what would have become of Lady Gaga if she didn’t move on from that toxic relationship she fund herself.
Makinwa emphasized that there’s no power greater than picking yourself up and moving on from it all.
