Serial entrepreneur, Ubi Franklin has revealed that he made N10 billion between 2012 and 2019, however, he admitted to not having any financial discipline and one of his biggest mistake was splashing money on his wedding to actress, Lilian Esoro.
Speaking with BusinessDay, Ubi Franklin spoke on his business and other life events.
Ubi was certain about the amount he had made in about 7 years – N10 billion, but his major problem was his financial discipline to manage his spending.
When asked about his biggest spending regret, Ubi stated that one major mistake he made was splashing a lot of money on his wedding with actress Lilian Esoro.
“I think the biggest money mistake for me was the money for my wedding. That was the biggest money mistake because a few guys that had experience at the time told me to just do something small and then go home.
When I see people do big scale wedding, I laugh because it’s a party, it is just for a day and when that day is done, it’s done. Yes they say memories but you see, you can create memories without spending billions.
So I think that is one of the biggest money mistake I have made’. If I had known, I would have done something smaller, classier than what I did because I did like almost three months of different events.”
Recall that Ubi and Lilian Esoro tied the knot in a beautiful wedding ceremony which held in 2015, but the marriage hit the rock shortly after the wedding.
