This was just as the festival organisers unveiled in Lagos recently, the official selection for the festival, taking place in Paris, France, from June 2 to June 5, 2016.
Afolayan, who is the brand ambassador of Air France, first met the airline’s top management who share the vision of NollywoodWeek, during the festival, last year.
Afolayan was among the directors and actors who graced the official selection VIP cocktail for Nollywood industry professionals hosted by Mr. Laurent Polonceaux, the General Consul of France at his Lagos private residence.
NollywoodWeek is a film festival organized by the French-based association Okada Media, headed by Serge Noukoué and Nadira Shakur. The festival was created to fill the void of quality Nigerian cinema in the French market.
