TVC E, POLITICS – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC,  has re-arraigned Raymond Dokpesi before the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Dokpesi who was initially docked before the court on December the 9th, last year, is facing a six-count criminal charge.

EFCC has now joined Dokpesi’s DAAR Investment and Holdings Ltd, owners of African Independent Television and Raypower FM, as 2nd defendant in the suit.

Justice Gabriel Kolawole originally fixed the matter for trial on Wednesday, but at the resumed sitting, the EFCC took Dokpesi before another Judge for re-arraignment.

No reasons were given for the retrieval of the case-file from Justice Kolawole, but Dokpesi entered a fresh plea before Justice John Tsoho of the same court, who subsequently adjourned the case till March the 2nd for trial.

The court allowed the accused person to go home on the same bail conditions that were handed to him by Justice Kolawole.
