Ekiti State All Progressives Congress is celebrating the defection of a former People’s Democratic Party strongmanand financier and his many followers into the party.
Dele Okeya, a Commissioner for Works and Transportation during Governor Fayose’s first term said his defection from the PDP was belated.
TVC News Correspondent, Akin Ogunmola reports that APC executive committees from the state down to the ward level joined the huge crowd of members of the party in Emure Local Government Area to receive the former PDP Juggernaut.
The atmosphere is electric because Dele Okeya is joining the APC with about five thousand supporters.
The new APC catch told newsmen that his former party has been converted to a personal estate of one powerful man in the state.
